Jash-E- Gurez trek includes a visit to the patalwan lake . Its a high altitude trek from Dawar in Gurez valley, along with Disan Nala to the twin lakes as a height of 4000m.
The trek takes you into seldom catered areas in the Gurez valley, which is a beautiful amalgamation of mountains, valleys and rivers.
The trek lets you test your fitness while being one with nature.
It is also a unique opportunity to interact with the local population.
Due to its remoteness and rugged terrain, the area is vastly underdeveloped and unexplained. The trek is part of a bigger mission of the government to bring Gurez closer to the mainstream population.
It is therefore being planned in sync with the Jash-e-Gurez celebrations in the valley.
